The Mechanics of Reincarnation: How Souls Choose New Lives

CORE-032 Deep · A
Bashar explains reincarnation as a deliberate choice made by the soul in collaboration with the oversoul, guides, and sometimes other souls who will play key roles in the upcoming life. The selection process involves: (1) Theme selection—what area of growth does the soul wish to explore? (e.g., worthiness, power, love, creativity). (2) Probable reality scanning—reviewing the probability fields of Earth to find a time-space coordinate that offers the optimal conditions for the chosen theme. (3) Parent and body selection—choosing a genetic line and family environment that will provide the necessary beliefs and challenges. (4) Soul contract negotiation—agreeing with other souls on who will play which roles (parent, sibling, lover, enemy, teacher). (5) Birth imprinting—entering the fetus at a specific point in gestation (usually around the third trimester, though some souls come earlier or later). Bashar emphasizes that no soul is forced to reincarnate; it is always a choice. Some souls take centuries between lives to integrate and rest, while others reincarnate rapidly.
