Creativity and Artistic Expression: Channeling the Infinite

REL-040 Beginner · A
Bashar teaches that all creativity is channeling—tapping into the infinite field of possibilities and bringing a specific slice into physical form. He explains that artists are not 'creating' in the sense of making something from nothing; they are selecting from existing probable realities and manifesting them into this dimension. The blocks to creativity are always belief-based: 'I am not talented,' 'My work is not original,' 'No one will appreciate this,' 'Art is not practical.' Bashar advises artists to create from excitement rather than for validation. The purpose of art is not to please the market but to express the unique frequency of the creator. He also notes that creativity is not limited to traditional arts; business, science, parenting, and problem-solving are all forms of art when approached with passion and presence. He encourages a daily creative practice, even for 10 minutes, because creativity is a muscle that atrophies without use. 'The universe is your collaborator. Show up with excitement, and it will meet you with inspiration.'
