The Negative Ego: The Belief in Unworthiness

PRAC-011
Bashar identifies the 'negative ego' as the belief system that makes you think you are unworthy, undeserving, or incapable of achieving your desires.
Bashar identifies the 'negative ego' as the belief system that makes you think you are unworthy, undeserving, or incapable of achieving your desires. It is not an enemy to fight but a belief to recognize and release. The negative ego operates by creating self-sabotage patterns, procrastination, and attracting situations that confirm its narrative of limitation. The antidote is self-acceptance and the understanding that you are a creation of the Infinite, therefore inherently worthy. Bashar emphasizes: 'You cannot be unworthy of something you already are.' The negative ego thrives on comparison with others and past-future worry. The practice is to notice when the negative ego speaks (e.g., 'I can't,' 'I'm not good enough') and consciously replace it with a preferred belief.
